I went outside today by David Bristol-Alagbariya

I

I went outside today,

Surrounded by the trees,

Bathing in the sun’s bright afternoon rays,

Such fresh air and a gentle breeze

I went outside today,

Under the tropical climate,

Looking at the clouds in the sky as I laid,

Pondering on my future and what awaits my fate

I went outside today,

In the hopes of getting free of it all,

But despite nature’s beauty my problems resurfaced,

Then came crashing down my face

I went outside today,

Didn’t expect I’d feel this way!.
